Ajitesh has staged several national level One Act/Street Plays as an actor and director in college and after the college. He is taking care of Desi Junction Marketing responsibility because of his great inter personal skills and friendly nature of dealing with all genre of people. |

Simi Verma is the Marketing Director of Desi Juntion. She has been in the entertainment world for many years.
She came to Chicago at age 11 allowing her to have experience of the cultures of both worlds. She’s done many fashion shows, beauty contests, talent shows and stage plays in Chicago and has been involved in the Indian community since her teenage years.
Simi is on a mission and because of her dedication and passion to make Desi Junction THE biggest and best radio station in North American she has acquired many new and exciting sponsorships for us.
Simi’s success stems from her personality which allows her to converse with people from all walks of life putting them totally at ease and making each person feel special.

Shalini Saxena
Show Host & Events Coordinator
Shalini Saxena is the host of “Desi Junction.” She began her career in media from an early age when she graduated in Kathak dance. Passionate about music and dance, she worked as an assistant producer on Lucknow Doordarshan. Within a few months, Shalini’s popularity and television presence garnered her the position of TV anchor where she hosted for 7 years. With her effervescent fun personality, Shalini also scripted a children’s educational program on ETV. When she migrated to the United States, she did many stage shows. An experienced performed, Shalini is a professional singer with a sweet pure voice that can touch anybody’s heart. She has sung with Bollywood singers and has given concerts throughout Chicago. |
